• Defining the experimentation framework and ML decisioning approach to lift key business KPIs among existing users.

Built the analytics function for the end-to-end money flow at Checkout.com, a global payments processor.

• Defined north-star metrics and stood up analytics as the first Data Scientist in the Financial Experiences pillar — a cross-functional team of 50+ engineers and PMs overseeing all funds flow through the platform.
• Enabled the launch of a new acceleration product distributing over $100m daily, by freeing up $5m in liquidity, modelling the cost base across global jurisdictions, and projecting future revenue.

Built customer-centred models and engineered ML Ops pipelines to deliver significant commercial outcomes for one of the UK’s largest supermarket and retail groups.

• Designed and implemented a Docker-based ML scoring pipeline to federate our models, which reduced third party costs and increased internal model adoption.
• Collaborated with analysts and SMEs to create a first-of-its-kind, holistic, customer-level view of promotional spending, now used across all marketing to inform strategic decisions.

Guided and implemented data science strategy, for a multitude of start-ups in the fintech space.

• Led data science strategy for Vonto, a B2B startup, and directed product build while performing customer analytics.
• Consulted on personalisation methodology for the initial build of its core recommendation system as part of the founding team of Cheddar, an AI-powered deal discovery app co-developed with BCG Digital Ventures.

• Guided masters students through the life cycle of delivering industry sponsored projects and marked submissions.

Delivered projects within a data science team, using statistics and machine learning to build (end to end) and consult on bespoke, customer focused products at Australia's largest financial institution.

• Predicted bill amount, frequency and future recurrence for over 7 million customers.
• Sent push notifications to customers when the pricing plan of their bills change.
• Created economic forecasts based on longitudinal customer data. This was directly reported to the Australian Treasurer, influencing fiscal policy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
